Regency Radio, based in North Street, Brighton broadcasts on DAB+ to their local area, and is now on UK Radio Portal across the South Coast.

Founded by radio presenters Jay Jackson and Ambrose Harcourt, its presenters include local personalities, among them former TalkSport host Mike Mendoza.

Former Juice 107.2 managing director Laurence Elphick is the station manager, who told The Argus newspaper in June 2021 that, “Brighton lost its local radio station a few years ago, leaving a huge gap and that’s where we step in. We have already created quite an impact and intend to create a bigger one”.

“Regency Radio currently enjoys great audience reception on our DAB transmitter located in Brighton, we do however have a lot of listeners all the way along the Southcoast who enjoy out unique mix of presenters and non-stop advert FREE music. UK Radio Portal has come along at a time we are starting to expand to fulfil our listeners requirements to cover the South & South East.  There are many different options out there and UKRP fits in perfectly on our plan on how to deliver our service to our listeners in the most cost effective and convenient way possible”, Carl English, CEO,Regency Radio Ltd.
