River Radio, Northern Ireland’s first CDSP DAB Ofcom licensed radio station joins Freeview via UK Radio Portal.
Community Digital Sound Programme (C-DSP) licences are for community radio stations wishing to broadcast on DAB digital radio, and for which River Radio is very proud to be the first licence holder of this type in Northern Ireland.
River Radio is the premier youth media brand in the Northwest of Ireland. As an interactive radio service, they play current hits from across the world, mixed with dance music shows every weekend.
Broadcasting from custom built studios in the Waterside, they are available on DAB, online, on smart speakers, and now on Freeview channel 277.
River Radio is also home of the now famous Christmas Toy Appeal, making sure no kid in the Northwest goes without a toy at Christmas.
River Radio is now available across the UTV Northern Ireland region on UK Radio Portal.
